    Robot BrideRobot Bride

I knew she looked familiar – it's HRP-4C from a few months ago. Remember her? She strutted her cogs and curves at her unveiling at the Japanese National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science? If I didn't know any better I would say that the petite robot has seen a bit of the world and is all ready to take the next big step – get married!

Or something to that effect. She's not quite ready but seems like someone has made the perfect wedding dress for her. The moment in question is, strangely enough, her moment of fame at the catwalk where she sauntered down the path in a designer wedding dress. The dress itself was designed by Yumi Katsura who must be quite proud of such a crossover. After all, she is playing a part in the gradual introduction of robots into our everyday life.

Japanese authorities have been planning a national manga center for a few years and it looks like this plan might finally see the light of day. The center itself is called Kokuritsu Media Geijutsu Sogo Senta (which in effected has been translated by reporters as National Center for Media Arts or NCMA) and it boasts to be a fantastic storehouse of all things anime and manga. According to earlier plans, this building is meant to be a formidable site, standing tall at at least four stories high and stretching out to cover 10,000 sq. meters.

TrigunTrigunFinally, it sees the light of day. What am I going on about? The Trigun movie, of course! It looks like it's been four years in the making but it is going to be released for fans all over to enjoy. I came across a clip for the movie; it was apparently shown at Anime Expo 2009.

Well, the trailer/clip definitely looks good. The art work has been jazzed up and thus, looks modern. Don't worry, it still appears to retain the essence of each character and the basic storyline. Where the basic storyline is concerned, this is apparently an original story derived from/based on/inspired by the popular anime series.
